Shipping Info

- All orders are shipped from Pittsburgh, PA, USA
- All orders are shipped within 1 business day via USPS First Class Mail (unless a shipping upgrade was purchased or it’s a large order that is cheaper to ship via another carrier such as UPS).
- Once the package leaves Riverview Fabrics’ facility, Riverview Fabrics is no longer responsible for it. We cannot provide any more information on its location or estimated delivery day than what is provided with the tracking number.
- We do refund excess shipping charges that are over $5. This is especially the case for an order that may contain several ¼ yard pieces; the shipping fee charged is going to be more than the actual shipping cost. Therefore, a refund will likely be issued.
- If the tracking shows that the item has been delivered, but it’s nowhere to be found:
     1. Wait a couple of days to see if it shows up (this has happened before where it’s marked as delivered but didn’t show up for a week)
     2. Check with your neighbors
     3. Check with your local post office to see if they’re holding it for some reason OR if they can give you the GPS coordinates for where the package was scanned and marked as delivered
     4. We have also had a package returned to Riverview Fabrics even though it was marked as delivered at its destination. If this happens, we will let you know (if you haven’t already sent a message) and get it sent out again.
     5. Make sure that you provide a safe place for the package to be delivered - porch piracy is a serious problem.
- Unfortunately, if an item has been marked as delivered, Riverview Fabrics is unable to issue a refund.
- If your item arrives damaged, please take photos of the damaged packaging and item and send them to Riverview Fabrics in a message on Etsy so that we can file a claim. Please keep the package as received until the claim is filed.

Additional Information for International Shipments
- If you're concerned by the quoted shipping costs/lead times, please send me a message with the destination city/country and approximate amount of material you'd like to order, and I can send you an accurate shipping cost and lead time. UPS offers some affordable services that are faster than USPS.
- International shipments can take a while, as long as two months or more. However, most seem to arrive within a month.
- International orders are now shipped with insurance. If your item does not arrive within 40 days, please let us know so that we can file a claim and get a refund issued to you.
- Sometimes the tracking stops updating once the shipment leaves the US. Please be patient while it gets transferred to your local post office for final delivery.
